Weve been trying for about 3 months now with no luck and im starting to wonder if im just timing it wrong. My cycle is fairly regular, around 30 days. How do you all figure out the right days to try?
Mid cycle is the key time, around when you ovulate. If your cycle is 28 days then roughly day 14, with the few days before being most fertile. Cycles vary though, so track yours for a couple months.
I read the fertile window is around ovulation, roughly the middle of your cycle, about day 12 to 16 if you have a 28 day cycle. The days just before and on ovulation are said to be best. I am tracking mine too.
We are also trying, and I learnt the fertile window is around the middle of the cycle. I felt a bit lost at first, the tracker apps made it easier to understand. Maybe ask a doctor too if it takes time.
Just a gentle note, if your cycles are irregular like mine were with PCOS, the standard mid cycle rule may not fit. Ovulation strips helped, and honestly a doctor can guide you better in that case.
I used a period tracker app and ovulation strips, that combo really helped me pinpoint my fertile days. Generally the few days before ovulation. Apps estimate it but strips confirmed it for me, worth trying.
