We are planning from this month and I am confused with ovulation apps, fertile window and all. My cycle is usually 30-32 days, not exact every time. How did you track the best days?
Mid cycle days are your window, but don't make it a stressful science project okay. We took the pressure off and it actually helped. Track ovulation but also just enjoy the process.
If your cycles are regular the mid cycle days work. But I have PCOS and my ovulation was all over the place, so for me the app dates were useless. If you suspect irregular cycles, do talk to a gynac, they can help track it properly.
My family kept giving me their own tips but honestly the gynac explained it best. The fertile days are around ovulation. Don't stress over the exact date too much, relax and let it happen naturally too.
We were trying recently so I read up a lot. The fertile window is the few days before and around ovulation, usually mid cycle for a 28 day cycle. An ovulation kit helped us pin it down, I was so confused otherwise.
I used a tracker app and ovulation strips together. The app gave me a rough window, the strips confirmed the actual ovulation day. Those 2-3 days around ovulation are the best. Way more accurate than just counting in your head.
Roughly day 12 to 16 for a regular 28 day cycle, counting from the first day of your period. But if your cycles are irregular this can shift, so tracking is smarter than going by a fixed number.
