This is my first time and honestly i have no clue who to go to. Do i book a gynac directly or just a normal physician for confirming it? A bit lost yaar, pls guide.
First do the home kit, only like 50-100 rupees. If positive then go to gynac, dont go to general physician and waste money. Choose your gynac wisely coz you will visit them for 9 months, ask cost upfront also.
For confirming pregnancy a gynac is your person, they will do beta hCG blood test which is most accurate. If you dont know one, ask around for recommendations, a doctor you trust matters a lot in this time. General doc can refer you too.
Beta just go to any lady doctor, gynac they call it. In our town there is one good madam everyone goes to. She did my blood test and told me everything clearly, no need to confuse yourself.
You should see a gynaecologist (obstetrician) for pregnancy. The home kit confirms, but gynac does the blood test and scan to be sure. Go to a good OB-GYN, they handle the whole journey.
