Which dry fruits should be avoided during pregnancy?
Everyone keeps telling me to eat lots of dry fruits now that im pregnant, but i read somewhere a few should be limited in early months. First trimester here and confused. Which ones did your gynac ask you to avoid?
Most dry fruits are actually good, almonds walnuts dates all fine in normal amount. Only thing is dont overdo, they are high in calories. Some say go easy on too many dates early on but I ate them in moderation both pregnancies and was fine. Just dont eat a whole bowl daily.
Because of my sugar issue I had to watch dry fruits, they are sweet and dense. Raisins and dates spiked my sugar so I cut them down. If you have any sugar concern please check with doc how much is okay for you specifically.
Beta soaked almonds and walnut are very good for baby, hamare yahan to roz dete the. Bas zyada mat khao, sab cheez limit mein. Agar koi allergy ho to avoid that one only, baki sab theek hai.
Honestly there isnt a big banned list, it's more about quantity. If you have diabetes, allergies or any condition, then your doctor may tell you to limit certain ones. For a normal pregnancy moderate dry fruits are healthy.
I kept it simple and cheap, few soaked almonds and a couple walnuts daily, no need for fancy expensive nuts. Didnt avoid any really, just didnt overeat. Save the money, basic dry fruits do the job fine.
