I used to walk and do little yoga before but stopped after i found out. Now in 2nd trimester i feel i should move a bit but scared to do anything wrong. What do u all do to stay active safely?
My amma always said just walk and stay active, dont sit all day. I did gentle yoga also but only after doctor said it was fine for me. Listen to your body na.
Walking, light stretching and breathing exercises worked for both my pregnancies. Avoid heavy lifting or anything where you can fall. Ask your doctor if you had any complications before.
Walking is the safest and I did it daily, my gynac approved it. Prenatal yoga is also great but only with a proper instructor. Please check with your doc before starting anything new though.
