We are planning since last month and I read folic acid should be started before itself. So many brands in the medical store, got thoda confused. Which one did your gynac suggest?
Honestly, I had such bad nausea that swallowing those big multi-vitamin pills was a nightmare for me. My doc changed mine to a very small size folic acid tablet which was much easier to keep down. If you are throwing up a lot, tell your gynac so she can give u a tiny pill that doesnt trigger your vomiting.
During my IVF journey, every single pill felt so crucial and I was so scared of making any mistake. Please only take the exact folic acid brand and dose that your fertility doctor prescribes, as they know your history best. Sending you so much love and prayers for a beautiful, smooth pregnancy ahead.
Arey u don't need any super expensive imported brands, regular generic folic acid prescribed by government hospitals or local clinics works perfectly. Save that money for upcoming scans and blood tests bcoz those costs add up so fast. Just ask your doc to write a budget-friendly but good brand.
Oh god I panicked so much about this in my first month, searching online for the best brand! But my doctor told me all standard folic acid tablets do the same job. Just trust your gynac and take whatever she writes on your prescription, it is totally safe and standard.
Actually yaar, folic acid is super important but brand ka tension mat lo. Just go to your gynac and they will write the right tablet for u. I think almost everyone gets standard Folvite or something similar, super basic stuff.
I used to take whichever one my doctor prescribed during my pregnancy, I think it was Folvite but honestly u should just ask your gynac. Every body needs different dosage sometimes, so better not to self-prescribe. Just eat your green veggies too along with whatever pill they give.
I always set an alarm on my phone to take mine right after breakfast before leaving for office. Don't stress about brands, just take the one your doctor prescribes daily without skipping. If you're busy like me, keep a strip in your office bag too so u never miss it.
