Which food is good for baby growth during pregnancy?
Im in my second trimester and want to focus on baby's growth now, eat the right things. My MIL gives her own list but i want to know real experiences. What foods did you all add for good baby weight and growth?
For optimal baby growth, a balanced diet rich in protein, iron, calcium, and folic acid is key. Think lean meats, dals, eggs, dairy, leafy greens, and whole grains. However, specific dietary needs can vary, so it's always best to discuss your diet plan with your gynecologist or a nutritionist. They can guide you best.
During my pregnancy, my mom made sure I ate lots of fresh, homemade food. She focused on dal, lots of leafy greens like spinach, and fresh fruits every day. And milk, of course! She always said protein and calcium are very important for the baby's bones and growth.
Honestly, the best food is just a healthy, varied diet. Don't stress too much about specific items. I ate a lot of homemade food, lots of fruits, veggies, dals, and paneer. My gynac just emphasised getting enough protein and iron. My toddler is perfectly healthy and energetic now, so it worked out!
With my PCOS history, I was extra careful about what I ate. My doctor really stressed on a balanced diet, not just specific 'superfoods'. Focus on whole foods, lots of fruits and veggies, good quality protein, and healthy fats. Avoid processed foods and too much sugar. Listen to your body and your doctor's advice.
