My appetite is up and down, so I want to focus on the main foods at least. I am vegetarian mostly and eating ghar ka khana. What foods did you make sure to include daily?
Hahaha, right now the most important food is whatever I can keep down without immediately running to the washroom! Kidding aside, my gynac said protein, iron, and calcium are key. But honestly, sometimes all I want is ice cream. Send help (and maybe some more ice cream).
Honestly, what's 'most important' can vary so much from person to person. Every body is different, aur baby ke needs bhi. It's always best to discuss your diet with your gynac, they can give the safest advice specific to you and your pregnancy.
Same here, I keep wondering about this! My MIL keeps pushing ghee and dry fruits, but my doc says to focus on protein and iron. Is there really one specific food, or is it more about a balanced plate? Sometimes it gets confusing na.
Haan ji, sabse important toh protein aur iron hi hota hai na. Daal, paneer, eggs agar khaate ho toh bohot achha hai. Aur hari sabziya, beetroot, pomegranate ye sab bhi zaroori hai blood ke liye. Bas ghar ka saaf suthra khaana khao aur doctor se bhi poochh lo. Vo better bata denge.
Yaar, actually, it's not one food. Your gynac will tell you to focus on protein and leafy greens, for sure. But don't forget your carbs from roti/rice, and good fats like ghee in moderation. Mere doc ne bola tha, just eat well-balanced ghar ka khana, don't go for any fancy diet. Aur cravings handle karna toh alag story hai!
Oh god, this question used to stress me out so much! I kept googling everything, worried I wasn't eating perfectly. Just focus on a balanced diet, yaar. Lots of greens, daal, fruits... and talk to your doctor. You're doing great, don't overthink like I did!
Pichhe mud ke dekhti hu toh I realise it's not about one 'most important' food, but a mix of everything. Daal, rice, sabzi, fruits, milk – ek balanced diet hi best hai. Just make sure you're getting enough iron and calcium, jo normally required hota hai. Don't stress too much over it, just eat wholesome ghar ka khana.
A balanced diet with all essential nutrients is key. Think about including plenty of protein like dal, paneer, eggs; iron from spinach, jaggery; calcium from milk, curd; and lots of fruits and veggies for vitamins. Hydration is also super important, so drink enough water throughout the day. Listen to your body and your doctor.
