Im in my second trimester now and want to eat properly for the baccha. My MIL keeps suggesting ghee and dry fruits but i want to know what actually helps. What did u all add to ur daily diet?
Having gone through a long journey to get my baby, I was extremely careful with my diet. Focus on clean proteins like paneer, well-cooked dal, and a handful of soaked almonds daily. Just eat simple, freshly cooked home meals and avoid outside food to keep your little one safe and healthy.
When I was staying at my mummy's place, she used to feed me dry fruit laddoos and fresh seasonal fruits every morning. Simple home-cooked dal chawal and fresh green leafy veggies are the best things for baby's weight. Family ke haath ka khana contains pure love and health.
I used to panic so much that I was not eating enough fancy foods for baby's growth! But honestly, my doctor told me regular ghar ka khana is more than enough. Just include spinach, eggs or paneer, and lots of liquids, baby will grow perfectly fine.
My pregnancy tracker app recommended having a rainbow plate, meaning different coloured veggies daily. Definitely add protein like chickpeas, tofu, or lean meat if u eat it, along with a good portion of calcium. Tracking my daily water intake of 3 liters also helped a lot with amniotic fluid!
