First pregnancy n im honestly confused what all to stop eating. heard so many things about papaya, pineapple, certain fish n all. would really help if u could share what u avoided. thoda clarity chahiye.
Avoid raw papaya, raw sprouts, undercooked eggs and meat, and unpasteurised milk or cheese. Cut down on too much caffeine and outside cut fruits. Cook everything well and wash thoroughly, that handles most risks.
The hardest one for me was giving up my street pani puri and raw salads haha. But I just shifted to home made versions and felt safer. Cooked and fresh is the mantra, rest you can still enjoy yaar.
Elders at home asked me to skip raw papaya and very cold heavy foods in early months. I also avoided street side cut fruits to be safe. For anything specific I just checked with my gynac, na, no need to follow every kitchen rule blindly.
