First trimester and honestly my appetite is all over the place. I wanna make sure whatever little i eat is actually good for the baby. What did u ladies focus on eating?
You dont need fancy expensive foods yaar. Eggs, bananas, peanuts, seasonal fruits, palak, dal, curd, all cheap and super nutritious. Save your money for the scans and tests, kitchen me simple healthy khana kaafi hai.
Focus on protein and fibre, and go easy on the sweet and refined stuff. I leaned on dals, sprouts, paneer, veggies and limited fruit because of my sugar. Your ideal mix depends on your reports so confirm with your doctor.
Keep it simple, dal chawal sabzi roti curd, lots of green veggies and seasonal fruits. Add eggs, paneer, nuts for protein and milk for calcium. Ghar ka fresh khana is honestly the best for pregnancy.
Fruits, nuts, eggs, milk, leafy greens and lots of water, thats my golden list :) Keep meals colourful and fresh and you and baby both will feel great.
We ate a lot of rice, sambar, curd, drumstick, coconut and fresh fruits at home and it felt very nourishing. Family food cooked fresh is wonderful. Just take your iron and folic acid as the doctor prescribed too.
I felt better both physically and mood wise when I ate small frequent meals with fruits, nuts and warm home food. Heavy meals made me uneasy. Listen to your body and eat balanced, it really helped me.
