I get confused with fruits because everyone gives different restrictions. I want simple options that are easy on stomach and not too much sugar. What fruits did you eat daily?
Pretty much all normal fruits are fine and good for you. Apples, pomegranate, citrus, berries, banana. Just wash properly and have in moderation. Some say go easy on too much papaya and pineapple, but normal amounts are okay.
I ate lots of seasonal fruits, banana, apple, pomegranate, oranges, all good. My amma always made me have fresh fruit daily. Just wash them well. Doctor said variety is best, dont stress on one fruit.
Most fruits are great but if your sugar is being watched like mine was, go a little easy on very sweet ones like mango and chikoo, and have them with the meal. Otherwise apple, guava, oranges were my go to. Ask your doctor about portions.
Honestly i ate every fruit i could get my hands on, the cravings were real. Oranges and pomegranate were my favs. Just keep it fresh and washed. Fruit was the one craving i didnt feel guilty about.
