We are trying for a baby since a few months and im reading a lot about cycles and hormones. Just wanted to understand which one actually matters the most for conceiving. Anyone who tracked this pls share.
Its a team effort honestly, FSH and LH handle ovulation, estrogen and progesterone prepare and support things. If u wanna know ur own picture, a simple blood test on the right cycle day tells the doctor a lot.
I was reading about this too while trying. From what I gathered the LH surge is the one that signals ovulation, which is ur fertile time. Tracking that helped me understand my cycle better.
Few hormones play a role, LH and FSH for the egg release and then progesterone to support things. With my PCOS my hormones were off so I got them tested. If conceiving is taking time, that test really helps, dont stress alone.
There isnt just one, a few work together, the body releases LH which triggers ovulation, and progesterone helps after. In my IVF journey I learnt how much these matter. If ur trying and worried, a doctor can check ur levels gently.
