My gynac mentioned i'll need some injection in the coming months but i forgot the details. Just trying to understand which ones are usually given so im prepared. Pls share ur experience.
Tetanus toxoid is the standard one everyone gets, two shots during pregnancy. Some need the Anti-D injection depending on blood group. Your gynac will tell you exactly when.
It depends on your case but TT is routine for all. The exact injections and timing your doctor decides based on your reports, so just follow their chart. Dont self decide on injections.
I just got my first TT injection and was nervous but it was nothing, just a small prick. Doc said one more later. Did your hospital give a schedule card for it?
Mainly the TT (tetanus) injections, usually two doses, my doctor scheduled them. If your blood is Rh negative they may give Anti-D too. Always whatever your gynac advises, dont take anything on your own.
