Hello everyone, my husband and I are planning to conceive soon. We've heard different things about which months are 'better' in India, maybe considering weather or festivals. Is there really a 'best' month to conceive?
Honestly, focus on your health indicators first. I had to monitor my thyroid levels closely before trying, so the month didn't matter as much as getting my reports cleared by my doctor.
My consultant at Cloudnine suggested that planning around October-November makes the third trimester more comfortable weather-wise. Definitely check with your hospital team about your planning timeline.
Any month you get a positive test is the best month! But practically, conceiving between October and December is nice because the heavy third trimester falls during cooler monsoon and winter months.
My mother says conceiving around October is lovely because your delivery falls in summer when you can easily stay warm and recover at your maternal home.
As someone currently melting in this Indian heat with a massive belly, I highly recommend conceiving around winter so you don't have to suffer like me, haha!
