Which is the best position to sleep during early pregnancy?
Im around 7 weeks and getting confused about how to sleep. I usually sleep on my stomach but now thoda dar lag raha hai. Is it okay or should I switch side already?
Oh god, I'm also still figuring this out! Everyone says left side is best, especially later on. But in early pregnancy, isn't it okay to sleep how you're comfortable? I keep waking up on my back and then panic thoda. What do others do, ya?
Honestly, after eating all my cravings, any position that lets me digest without heartburn feels like the best! Jokes aside, my doc said in early pregnancy, just be comfortable. Later, left side is better for blood flow. Right now, sleep is sleep!
Look, early pregnancy main the main goal is to get *some* sleep! Later it's left side. Right now, just choose a position that is comfortable and doesn't make you feel uneasy. Don't stress too much about 'the best' when you're already juggling so much work.
The main thing is to avoid sleeping flat on your back, especially as your belly grows, as it can compress major blood vessels. In early pregnancy though, you usually have more flexibility. Just try to find a comfortable side position if possible, but don't overthink it too much yet.
I've heard that sleeping on your side, especially the left, is recommended for pregnant women. But I think in the very early stages, it's more about whatever feels gentle and comfortable for you. You don't have a big bump yet, so focus on comfort.
My mother-in-law would always say sleep on your side only. But my doctor said for early pregnancy, just find what feels good, don't worry too much. Later on, left side is good for baby's blood flow. Always listen to your doctor first, kanna.
