There are so many kits in the medical shop and i dont know which one is most reliable. my period is 3 days late and i dont want a false result. which brand or type did u all trust?
Honestly the home strip is cheap and works fine to start, no need to rush to a lab first. If its positive, then spend on the blood test to confirm at the gynac. Saved me a couple of extra lab trips that way.
The blood test is more sensitive and reliable than the urine strip, and it can also give the hcg number. Urine kits are convenient for home but do it with morning urine after a missed period. For confirmation, blood test wins.
Home urine kit is great for a first check, easy and cheap. But the blood beta hcg test at a lab is the most accurate and can detect earlier. I did the home one first then confirmed with blood at the gynac. Best combo honestly.
