I dont feel like eating much these days so thinking to add some fresh juices. Want something that gives energy and good for the baccha. What juices did you all prefer?
Acha, for juices, stick to fresh, homemade ones, beta. Mosambi ka ras, santre ka ras, ya anar ka ras – these are good. Just make sure no extra sugar is added, and drink it right after making it. Packaged juices mein bahut preservatives aur sugar hoti hai, woh theek nahi. Pani bhi bahut peena.
Freshly made mosambi juice or orange juice at home are usually good options. Just avoid adding too much sugar and drink it fresh. Coconut water is also very refreshing and healthy.
I focused a lot on staying hydrated with healthy options. For juices, I preferred fresh vegetable juices like carrot or beetroot mixed with a little apple, homemade of course, no added sugar. For fruit juices, fresh nimbu pani or diluted mosambi juice were my go-to. Always check with your doc about what's best for your specific health needs, especially regarding sugar content.
Be very careful with juices, actually. When I had gestational diabetes, my doctor told me to avoid most fruit juices, even fresh ones, because they are concentrated sugar without the fiber. If you must have juice, make sure it's fresh, diluted, and in very small quantities. Whole fruits are always a much better option. Always check your blood sugar if you have diabetes risk.
After my previous miscarriage, I became so incredibly cautious about everything, especially diet. For juices, I only had very fresh, homemade ones like apple or orange, diluted with water. I completely avoided any packaged juices. It’s always best to check with your doctor, as their advice is tailored to your health. Please be gentle with yourself.
My doctor recommended fresh juices, but with a few caveats. She said fresh mosambi, orange, apple, and pomegranate juices are generally good, as long as they are freshly made at home, without added sugar, and consumed immediately. She also emphasized that whole fruits are always preferred because they retain fiber, which is crucial for managing sugar levels and digestion during pregnancy. Diluting them with water can also be a good idea.
With my thyroid issues, my doctor always told me to be mindful of my diet, and that included juices. She suggested fresh fruit juices like orange, mosambi, or apple, made at home without sugar. But she also said whole fruits are even better because of the fiber. So, stick to fresh, homemade and ask your gynac which ones are best for you.
