Everyone in family is telling me to start kesar milk now that im in 2nd trimester, for the baby. But there are so many types in the market and so many fake ones na. Which brand or quality do you ladies actually use?
Pure kesar in very small amounts is generally fine, but theres a lot of myth around it making baby fair which isnt true. I had a little in milk occasionally and mentioned it to my doctor. Just dont overdo it expecting any magic.
My MIL was very particular about giving me kesar milk for the baby. I had just a few strands now and then, not daily. She bought the proper Kashmiri one, said quality matters more than quantity.
In our families a few strands of good quality Kashmiri kesar in warm milk is given, but only a tiny pinch beta. Too much is not advised. Buy pure original kesar, not the cheap coloured ones, and have it occasionally.
