Im a first time mom and just trying to understand which phases i need to be extra careful in. Some say the start, some say the end. Can u all tell from ur experience which months were the important ones?
The first trimester (1-3 months) is the most sensitive since baby is forming, and the last couple months need closer watching for BP, growth and delivery prep. Middle months are usually the comfy ones. But honestly, regular checkups through all of it is what matters most.
Im in my 5th month now and honestly feeling the best so far. I read the first 3 months are the delicate ones and the last few need extra care. Did the rest of u feel calmer in the middle too? It eased my nerves.
Dont label the whole pregnancy as scary. Early months need care while baby forms, and the final ones need closer monitoring, thats really it. Take ur folic acid, go for every checkup, and breathe. You'll move through each stage just fine.
My gynac put it simply, first trimester is critical for development and miscarriage risk is higher then, and third trimester needs monitoring for things like BP, position and growth. Second trimester is generally the most stable and enjoyable. She said dont skip scans in any phase though.
First and last trimesters are the watchful ones in my experience. The early weeks for stability and the last for BP, swelling and baby's movements. Whatever month you're in, any bleeding, strong cramps or reduced movement means call ur doctor right away.
