Which oil is best for body massage during pregnancy?
Starting to get that pulling feeling on my tummy and kamar so thinking of doing regular massage. Confused between coconut, almond etc. Which one did u all use that felt safe and good during pregnancy?
I completely understand how much you need a relaxing massage, pregnancy body aches can really trigger your anxiety and fatigue. For my peace of mind, I chose simple, organic cold-pressed coconut oil because it has no strong chemicals or heavy scents. It really helped soothe my mind and body.
From my experience, pure sesame oil (til ka tel) or olive oil works wonders for relieving those heavy leg cramps. I still use sesame oil occasionally now while breastfeeding because it keeps the skin so soft and warm. Just make sure the oil is slightly warm when you apply it.
My doctor specifically advised me to use pure olive oil or cold-pressed coconut oil because they are safe and don't contain any artificial fragrances. She also told me to strictly avoid any essential oils like rosemary or jasmine, as they can sometimes cause uterine contractions. Always stick to simple, natural oils for safety.
I recently delivered and throughout my third trimester, I used sweet almond oil for my leg and back massages. It absorbs so well and kept my skin super hydrated. Just make sure whoever is massaging you is very gentle and avoids putting pressure on your tummy or lower back.
I used simple virgin coconut oil for my massage because it's completely natural and safe. When you have gestational diabetes, even skin care needs to be clean to avoid any unnecessary skin infections or irritations. It really helped with the dryness without costing a bomb.
