As my pregnancy is progressing, sleeping is becoming difficult. What is the best and safest sleeping position that is recommended during pregnancy, especially as my belly grows?
Medically, sleeping on your left side is the best because it improves blood flow and nutrition to the placenta. Try using a pregnancy pillow or just support your back and knees with normal pillows to stay in position.
I am in my second trimester now and I try so hard to sleep on my left side, but I always wake up on my back and then panic! Is anyone else struggling to stay on their side all night?
