We are trying to conceive and everyone gives different tips about position after sex. I dont know if it really matters, but after many months of trying I am ready to ask anything. Did any position help anyone here?
Sleeping on your left side is what most doctors recommend, especially later on, its good for blood flow to baby. Put a pillow between your knees, makes a big difference. Early on you can sleep however is comfy though.
Whatever lets you actually sleep is also important beta, but try to favour the left side as the bump grows. Dont worry about being perfect, just get comfortable and rest well.
My gynac said left side is ideal in the later months because it improves circulation and reduces pressure on the big vein. She said if i wake up on my back its not a disaster, just turn back to the side. Pillow under the bump helps a lot.
Left side they say, but try telling that to a body that just wants to flop on the back at 3am, haha. I bought a U pillow and it became my best friend. Honestly do left side as much as you can but dont lose sleep over switching.
