Which position is better to sleep during pregnancy?
Im in second trimester now and cant sleep properly, keep turning whole night. My saas keeps saying dont sleep on back. Honestly thoda confused which side is actually right. how do u all manage?
Beti, jab pet badhne lage, toh sab bolte hain ki left side par sona chahiye. Hamare ghar mein bhi sab yahi batate the. Woh baby ke liye accha hota hai aur maa ko bhi araam milta hai. Ek takiya ghutno ke beech aur ek pet ke neeche rakh ke so. Bahut faayda hoga.
This is a really important question. Doctors usually recommend sleeping on your left side, especially in the second and third trimesters. It helps with circulation for the baby and prevents pressure on major blood vessels. If you find yourself on your back, don't panic, just gently shift. Always try to be mindful and talk to your gynac about any concerns you have.
Oh, sleep positions! In my first trimester, I mostly slept however I could because morning sickness was so bad. But once the bump showed, definitely on the left side was recommended by my gynac. It helps with blood circulation for both you and the baby. A pregnancy pillow is a lifesaver, honestly, makes a huge difference.
Meri saas ne toh hamesha left side par sone ko bola tha, especially jab pet badhne lage. She said it's better for baby's blood flow. And honestly, it was the most comfortable for me too later on. Pillow support for the bump and between the knees helps a lot.
Sleeping on your left side is generally considered the best position, especially in the later trimesters. It helps improve blood flow to the uterus, kidneys, and of course, the baby. I found it most comfortable with a pillow between my knees and one supporting my belly. It gets a bit challenging to find a good spot, but keep trying. That support will help you sleep better.
The best position is definitely on your left side! 🤰 It's super helpful for blood flow to your baby and your organs. My gynac strictly told me this for the second and third trimesters. A pregnancy pillow can be your best friend to make it comfy! 😊 Sweet dreams!
Listen, left side is the best, simple. Doctor will tell you the same. It helps with blood flow to the baby and prevents pressure on your internal organs. If you find it hard, use pillows. One between your knees, one under your belly. That's how it's done.
It's generally advised to sleep on your left side, especially as your pregnancy progresses, to ensure optimal blood flow to the baby and your uterus. However, every pregnancy is unique. Please discuss this with your gynac, as they can provide the best advice based on your individual health and the stage of your pregnancy. Safety first always.
