Im 30 weeks and i keep feeling kicks more on one side and pressure low down. Cant really tell which way the baby is positioned. How do you all figure out where the head is?
It keeps changing for most of the pregnancy yaar, baby moves around a lot. Usually closer to delivery the head settles down near the pelvis. Your gynac confirms the exact position in the scan, dont try to guess from kicks.
I was wondering the same thing! I keep feeling kicks low down so I assumed head is up? But I read it changes a lot. Will just ask my gynac at next scan I guess.
Elders at home try to guess by the shape of the belly but really only the doctor knows from the scan. My baby was head down only in the last month. Dont stress about it now, the gynac monitors it.
My doctor explained that till around the third trimester the baby flips and turns freely, so the head isnt fixed early on. By around 36 weeks ideally the head points downward for delivery. They check this properly in the scan and by feeling your tummy.
My app kept telling me weekly positions but honestly only the ultrasound shows the real picture. Early on baby is doing somersaults so position isnt fixed. Closer to due date the doctor will tell you if head is down or not.
