Im in my 6th month now and somehow i always end up on my back at night. My saas keeps saying sleep on one side only but doesnt say which. Left ya right, which one is actually better na?
Sleeping on your left is highly recommended for proper circulation. Honestly, save your money and don't buy those fancy C-shaped maternity pillows because normal home cushions do the exact same job. You will need that cash later for hospital delivery packages and baby vaccination charges.
Left side pe hi sona sabse safe mana jata hai, humare ghar ke bade bhi yahi bolte hain. Thodi der ke liye right side so jao toh koi problem nahi hai, par back pe mat sona bilkul na. It puts too much pressure on your back.
Gynacs recommend the left side, but staying in one position all night is practically impossible. Don't waste money on those huge, expensive pregnancy pillows. I just used two normal bed pillows—one behind my back and one under my knees—and it worked perfectly.
Yaar, left side is ideal but seriously don't stress too much if you wake up on your back in the middle of the night. Your body is smart enough to wake you up or make you turn if you're uncomfortable. Just sleep however you can get some peaceful rest!
Left side is the absolute best position for baby! It helps with better blood flow and nutrients reaching the placenta. 😴 I used to tuck a soft pillow under my tummy and another between my knees for ultimate comfort!
My doctor told me that sleeping on the left side is medically best as it keeps the uterus off the liver and large blood vessels. She advised me to avoid sleeping flat on my back after 20 weeks to prevent dizziness and ensure optimal oxygen for the baby.
