I keep hearing left side is better but honestly i turn so much in my sleep. Now im 5 months and getting confused, is right side really that bad? how do u all manage the whole night.
Left is ideal but dont lose sleep stressing about it. Your body will shift in the night and thats okay. Just avoid sleeping flat on your back for long stretches in the later months.
My app kept reminding me left side is best for circulation. I bought a pregnancy pillow around month 6 and it honestly changed my sleep, keeps you naturally tilted left without thinking.
Left side is what they recommend, especially later on, it helps blood flow to the baby. But honestly dont stress if you wake up on your back or right, just turn back to left. A pillow between the knees made it way comfier for me.
Left side they say, and even my mother told me the same when I was carrying. I used to keep a small pillow under my belly too, very comfortable. Ask your doctor once if you have any back issues though.
I keep reading left side and now I panic every time I wake up on my right, lol. My doc said as long as Im not flat on my back for hours its fine. Anyone else overthink this?
