Im in my 2nd trimester and have caught a really bad cold, nose blocked and sneezing whole day. Dont want to take anything without checking but wanted to know what others took with doc's advice. Pls share, this cold is making me so weak.
It's really important to exercise caution with any medication during pregnancy, especially for something common like a cold. Many over-the-counter tablets are not safe. Please consult your obstetrician; they will be able to guide you on safe options, if any are needed.
Oh god, I'm also in my second trimester and constantly worried about getting sick! I had a mild cold last month and was so confused about what to take. My gynac strictly said no meds without her go-ahead. Did you guys also feel so stressed about every little thing?
Arey cold is so annoying, ho na? Best thing is to avoid medicines unless your doctor specifically prescribes something. For relief, you can try gargling with warm salt water or just sipping on ginger tea. It helps a bit, na?
Honestly, for cold during pregnancy, it's really best not to take any meds without checking with your gynac first. OTC meds that seem harmless can sometimes not be good for pregnancy. My husband always says to just call the doc, even for a small thing like cold.
Mere saath bhi hua tha cold. Doctor ne kaha tha garam paani mein haldi daal ke piyo, ya steam lo. Koi tablet khud se mat lena, bahut risky hota hai pregnancy mein. Ghar pe adrak chai, tulsi ke patte – ye sab try kar sakte ho, it helps.
