Just got my confirmation this week and im honestly overwhelmed with all the dos and donts everyone is throwing at me. Want a clear idea of what foods or activities to actually stay away from. Pls share from your experience.
Avoid raw or undercooked food, papaya and pineapple in big amounts, smoking and alcohol, and self medicating. Also no heavy lifting or hot tubs. Basically eat clean home food and check any medicine with the doctor.
Beta, in our family we always said no to raw papaya and too much heaty foods in early months. Avoid stress and heavy work. But dont follow every old rule blindly, ask the doctor for the serious things.
Mainly avoid junk and outside unhygienic food, it just leads to infections and extra doctor bills. Stick to simple home food, it is cheaper and safer. Skip the risky stuff and you save money and worry both.
I avoided raw fish, unpasteurised stuff, excess caffeine, smoking and any medicine without approval. The food myths vary a lot, so I checked the real ones with my gynac. Better to confirm than fear everything.
