I bought a home test but not sure whether to do it morning or any time. My period is late by 2 days and I don't want a wrong result. When did you test for clear line?
Morning first urine and ideally after the missed period date for the home kit. If it's negative but period still doesnt come, a blood test at the lab is more accurate. When in doubt your gynac can confirm properly.
My mother always said test in the early morning, and turns out she was right. The kit reads better then. If you get an unclear faint line, repeat after 2-3 days or just get a blood test done to be sure.
Best time is first thing in the morning with your first urine, the hormone is most concentrated then so result is clearer. And do it after your period is actually late, testing too early gives wrong negatives. I tested too soon with my first and got fooled.
I used to track my cycle on an app and it would remind me. The trick is wait till the day your period is due or a couple days after, and use morning urine. Testing before that the line can be too faint or just not show even if u are pregnant.
Same doubt i had! I tested at night first and it was negative, then morning ke time it showed positive. So yeah morning makes a difference. Wait for the missed period if u can.
