Which type.of dry fruits are eatable.during pregnancy conceive?
Planning to conceive soon and my MIL keeps telling me to eat dry fruits for strength. But which ones exactly? Im confused between almonds, dates, walnuts and all. Anyone knows what's best?
My mother-in-law gave me soaked almonds and walnuts to start eating every morning now that we are trying. I find it a bit heavy to eat raw, so I take them with some warm milk. They are supposed to be very good for preparing the body.
Almonds, walnuts, and dry figs are excellent sources of protein, healthy fats, and fiber. Soaking them overnight makes them easier to digest and absorbs nutrients better. Avoid salted or fried ones, stick to the plain raw ones.
Honestly, if you have bad nausea, avoid eating dry fruits raw as they can feel heavy on the stomach. I used to powder my soaked almonds and mix them in milk, which was much easier to keep down. Walnuts are also great if you can manage them.
Soaked almonds, walnuts, and pistachios are great! Dry fruits give you so much energy during this planning phase. Just eat a small handful daily and stay super healthy.
I used to have a mix of almonds, walnuts, and figs daily when I was trying to conceive. Now my little toddler runs around all day and eats them too! It's a wonderful habit to start early.
Soaked almonds and walnuts are definitely the safest bet! I used to avoid dry figs and dates initially because I worried they would cause body heat, but later my doc said moderate amounts are fine. Just make sure you wash them and soak them overnight to be 100% sure.
I started eating dates and raisins recently in my second trimester, but is it safe to eat them daily? I stick to soaked almonds mostly. Did anyone else eat dry fruits in early pregnancy without any issues?
I love making a homemade dry fruit laddu with dates, figs, almonds, and walnuts! It satisfies my sweet cravings perfectly without using processed sugar. Plus, it's super healthy for conceiving!
Don't spend a bomb on fancy exotic berries or expensive pine nuts. Good old local almonds, walnuts, and black raisins are super healthy and fit the budget easily. Save that money for your upcoming hospital scans and tests which can get really expensive!
Listen, keep it simple. Eat 4 soaked almonds and 2 walnuts daily, that's it. No need to eat half a kilo of dry fruits and get stomach heat. Just eat clean home food along with it.
I was very scared during my early days, so I stuck only to soaked almonds and walnuts. I avoided dates completely in the first trimester just to feel safe. Take it easy and eat what makes your body feel secure and calm.
I ate soaked almonds and walnuts throughout my pregnancy and even now while breastfeeding. They really helped me maintain my strength and energy levels. Definitely start making them a part of your daily morning routine.
