im in my first tri n everyone has a different list of veggies to avoid. one says no brinjal, one says no papaya (i know thats fruit). just want a real idea of what to actually skip. pls share.
Honestly you dont need fancy diet plans for this. Just buy normal seasonal veggies, wash them in salt water and cook them well, that handles most of the risk. The only ones I genuinely kept away were raw papaya and raw sprouts.
In our family elders always said no to raw papaya and avoid too much raw veggies in early months. I followed it lightly but still ate all my normal sabzi cooked well. If you have any specific worry just check with your gynac, na.
Mostly all veggies are fine, just wash them really well and cook properly. People usually avoid raw sprouts and unwashed leafy greens because of infection risk. I also avoided too much raw papaya, but cooked normal veggies were never a problem.
Raw papaya thoda avoid karte hai early on, ho na. Baki saari veggies dhoke aur cook karke khao, koi problem nahi. Mai toh palak, gajar, lauki sab khati thi happily.
