I always get so confused calculating this from my last period date. My first scan is still a few days away. How do you all figure out the exact week correctly, im never sure if im counting right.
I was so confused about this too in the start. My gynac just looked at my scan and told me the exact week, felt much better after that. Did anyone else feel lost counting weeks na?
My doc explained they count from the first day of your last period, not from conception. So if you remember that date you can roughly calculate. But the dating scan gives the most accurate week, mine corrected my count by a few days.
I just put my last period date in a pregnancy app and it showed my week instantly. Super easy and it also tells you what's happening with baby that week. Your scan will confirm it properly though.
