Im 36 weeks now and counting down every single day haha. My gynac mentioned full term but i didnt fully catch which week it actually is. Just want to know when the baby is considered safely ready to arrive.
I keep asking my gynac the same thing because I am SO done lol. She said 39-40 is the sweet spot, and anything from 37 counts as term. I am counting every single day now honestly.
My app broke it down as: 37-38 early term, 39-40 full term, 41 late term, 42 post term. So full term is technically 39 to 40 weeks. Cute how it celebrated each week milestone.
My doctor explained it nicely, full term is considered 39 to 40 weeks. From 37 weeks its early term, and after 41 its late term. So a baby is best to arrive between 39 and 40, but 37 onwards is generally safe to deliver.
37 weeks is when they call it term basically, but a full healthy term is around 39 to 40. Both my kids came around 38-39 and were perfectly fine. Dont panic if baby comes a bit before 40, thats totally normal.
