Everyone keeps asking me kitne mahine ho gaye but doc only tells weeks, so im always confused converting it. Like 20 weeks matlab kaunsa month exactly? Someone pls explain simply.
Same here, I am currently 18 weeks and always confused whether to say 4 months or 5 months to my family! Relatives don't understand weeks at all, they just ask 'kaunsa mahina chal raha hai'.
I had to figure this out to budget for my delivery package on time because different hospitals charge differently based on trimester bookings. Broadly, weeks 1-4 is 1st month, 5-8 is 2nd, and so on. Keeping a track helped me manage diagnostic test costs too.
This is so nostalgic, I used to check my calendar daily! Trust me, once the baby is a toddler, u will forget all this math. Just focus on your weekly milestones and enjoy this phase.
Weeks are much more accurate than months, especially in the end. My doctor scheduled my C-section for exactly 38 weeks, and knowing the week-to-month conversion helped me plan my leaves and recovery support at home.
I completely understand the confusion, it is so confusing for everyone! Honestly, don't stress about the math, your body is doing the real work of growing a life. Just take care of your health.
Actually the math is a bit tricky since 40 weeks is technically 10 lunar months, not 9. I found it best to follow my gynac's calculations during checkups. They count from the first day of your last period.
Standard calculation me har 4 hafta ek mahina hota hai. Jaise 12 weeks matlab teesra mahina chal raha hai. Thoda upar neeche chalta hai, bas khush raho aur achi cheezein socho.
