Im in my first trimester and want to get my diet right from the start. Was looking for the WHO recommendations on what to eat n how much. Has anyone followed them, are they easy to actually manage?
Basically a balanced plate, enough protein, iron, calcium, fruits and veggies, plus your prescribed folic acid and iron. The WHO does have general guidelines but your gynac tailors it to you. Dont overcomplicate it.
The WHO recommends things like folic acid, iron supplements and balanced meals, yes. But honestly the best plan is the one your doctor or dietician gives for your reports. General guidelines plus personal advice works best.
You dont need costly superfoods to follow good nutrition. Dal, eggs, seasonal fruit, milk and greens cover most of it. Plus the doctor given supplements, keep it simple and affordable.
