First trimester and i literally cant keep my eyes open the whole day, even after sleeping 8 hrs. Feeling thoda guilty as i barely get any work done. Is this normal yaar?
It's common to feel very tired, your body is doing a lot! Sometimes, light activity like a short walk or pregnancy yoga (if your doctor has cleared it) can actually boost your energy levels a bit. Just listen to your body and don't push yourself. Make sure you're eating well and staying hydrated too.
Oh, that's completely normal, darling! Your body is literally building a human, and it takes a huge amount of energy. Hormones like progesterone also play a big role in making you feel sleepy. Just embrace the rest you need; it's your body's way of telling you to take it easy. You'll get your energy back slowly after delivery.
Excessive sleepiness can be super normal because your body is working so hard, but it can also sometimes be a sign of something else. I actually had thyroid issues during my pregnancy, and fatigue was one of my main symptoms. Just make sure your doctor checks your thyroid levels and iron levels regularly, just to rule out any deficiencies.
The extreme fatigue in pregnancy, especially in the first and third trimesters, is very common. It's mainly due to hormonal changes, particularly the surge in progesterone, and your body's increased metabolic demands. However, it's always good to mention it to your gynac to rule out underlying issues like anemia or thyroid imbalance. They can check your blood work.
It's totally understandable to feel constantly sleepy, especially after all your body has been through. Pregnancy hormones, especially progesterone, can make you feel incredibly tired. Please listen to your body and rest whenever you can. It's doing a lot of hard work to grow your little one.
