My sister breezed through both her pregnancies and here i am throwing up and tired all the time in my first tri. Makes me wonder why its so different for everyone. Anyone else feel like theirs is harder than people around you?
It really is luck of the draw beta, no two are same. Some sail through, some have a rough ride and both are completely normal. A harder pregnancy doesnt mean anything is wrong, just take more rest and support.
My two pregnancies were like day and night, first one I was sick the whole time, second I barely felt anything. Same body even. Its just how hormones, age, health and even stress levels differ each time. Nobody can fully predict it.
My MIL keeps comparing my pregnancy to hers saying she worked till the last day. But times and bodies are different na. Some have it easy, some don't, its not in our control. Just do what feels right for u.
I totally understand why u ask this, it can feel unfair when others sail through and u're struggling. Honestly its just different bodies and different pregnancies, not because u did anything wrong. Be gentle with urself yaar.
My doc said so many factors play in, age, genetics, your general health, the baby's position, even how much rest and support u get. So its rarely one reason. That's why comparing pregnancies isnt really fair to urself.
