Why are the first 3 months of pregnancy so important?
Everyone keeps telling me to be extra careful in the first trimester, rest karo, dont travel etc. Im 9 weeks now. But nobody really explains why these months matter so much. Can someone help me understand?
This is the time when your baby is planting roots and starting to grow, which is why it is so delicate. Try to rest as much as you can, eat healthy home-cooked meals, and keep your mind calm. Everything will go beautifully, don't worry.
I'm currently at 10 weeks and it feels so scary knowing how crucial this phase is! I am constantly checking if I'm eating right and avoiding anything risky. Are you also taking extra precautions, or is there any specific routine you are following during these first three months?
The first 3 months are crucial because the baby's main organs are starting to form, and the risk of miscarriage is highest during this time. Be very careful, avoid heavy lifting, take your folic acid regularly, and don't miss your doctor appointments. Just take care of yourself properly.
During the first trimester, critical developments like the baby's brain and heart are happening, so my hospital provided me with a detailed list of do's and don'ts. I highly recommend asking your doctor or the hospital's counseling staff to explain what scans and tests are essential in these months. They will guide you perfectly based on your health.
These three months are when major organ development happens, and you also have some important scans like the NT scan. It's smart to plan your budget now because these early tests can be a bit expensive, and you want to choose a hospital package that fits your wallet. Start saving a little every month for the delivery costs too.
