My gynac started me on a low dose aspirin this visit and im a bit confused why. I dont have any pain or anything. Just want to understand the reason behind it, anyone else been put on this?
I just delivered my healthy baby boy last month and I was on low-dose aspirin from week 12 till week 36. My doctor said it's to prevent high BP and ensure blood flows nicely to the uterus. It worked perfectly for me and I had no complications.
It's so scary when the doctor suddenly writes down medicines like aspirin, and you immediately start wondering if something is wrong. But don't worry, it's very common and they usually give it to improve blood flow to the baby and keep blood pressure normal. Just take a deep breath and trust your gynac.
Humein lagta hai aspirin toh dard ki dava hai, par pregnancy mein doctor isse khoon ka bahav achha rakhne aur BP control karne ke liye dete hain. Mere doctor ne bhi mujhe bola tha roj ek tablet lene ko. Aap bilkul chinta mat karo aur doctor ki baat mano.
Haan, ye actually BP control mein rakhne ke liye aur placenta mein blood flow badhane ke liye dete hain. Doctor ne prescribe kiya hai toh chup-chaap time pe le lo na, badme koi tension nahi hogi blood clotting ya preeclampsia ki.
Oh, swallowing tablets when you already feel like vomiting is the worst! But aspirin is really important if your doctor prescribed it, as it prevents serious complications like high blood pressure. Try taking it with a light snack in the evening as my doctor suggested, it helps keep the nausea away.
Medically speaking, low-dose aspirin acts as a preventive measure against preeclampsia, especially if you have certain risk factors. It basically keeps the blood vessels relaxed for better circulation to the placenta. Just ensure you take it exactly as your gynac directed, and don't stop it abruptly.
My gynac also prescribed low-dose aspirin from the end of my first trimester. It helps in keeping the blood pressure stable and ensures the baby gets all the nutrients properly through the placenta. I had a very smooth normal delivery, so don't worry about it!
Aspirin is usually recommended in low doses to reduce the risk of preeclampsia, which is high blood pressure during pregnancy. It is highly beneficial for improving placental blood circulation, but the exact timing and dose must be strictly decided by your doctor.
Yaar, actually doctors give baby aspirin to prevent preeclampsia and blood flow issues. My gynac told me it thins the blood slightly so that the baby gets proper nutrition without any blockages. If your doc has given it, don't miss it!
