My doctor started a small aspirin tablet and I forgot to ask why exactly. I am not taking anything without prescription, but I want to understand the reason. Did your gynac give aspirin too?
Its usually a low dose given for certain risks like BP or clotting issues, not a general thing. My friend was on it for her case. Whatever the reason, only your gynac should prescribe it, never on your own.
Please dont take aspirin on your own. In my pregnancy my gynac put me on a low dose because i was at risk for high BP, and she watched it closely. It is only given for specific reasons, so this is purely a doctor decision.
I wont pretend to know the full medical side, but i know its given in specific situations and only by the doctor. If your gynac has suggested it, ask her to explain why for your case. Definitely not something to start yourself.
