Just started feeling little flutters around 20 weeks and now its proper kicks, mostly at night when i lie down. So curious why they do it, is baby playing or hungry or what? such a sweet feeling tbh.
My little one used my bladder as a trampoline, especially at 3 am, haha. Basically baby is just stretching and having a party in there. It's normal and honestly kind of adorable once you get used to it.
When I felt the first kick I literally cried, it was the most magical feeling. Babies kick because they are moving, stretching, even reacting to sounds and food. It's their way of saying hi, honestly the best part of pregnancy.
I just started feeling little flutters and got both excited and nervous. Did you all feel light bubbly movements first before proper kicks? It's reassuring to know it just means the baby is doing well.
My doctor explained that kicking is baby exercising muscles and responding to light, sound and your meals. She told me from third trimester to do kick counts daily. If you notice clearly less movement, she said go in and get checked, don't wait.
Kicks just mean baby is active and developing normally, totally a good sign. They move more after you eat or at night usually. Just keep an eye on the pattern in later months, and if movements drop a lot, call your gynac.
Those kicks feel like little blessings, na. I used to talk softly to my baby and feel the response. Stay calm and positive, enjoy each movement, it's a beautiful phase.
