At my last scan around 30 weeks the doctor said baby's weight is on the lower side for the dates. Im trying to eat well but its stressing me out so much. Did anyone face this and baby still turned out fine?
Dont worry too much beta, babies grow at their own pace n sometimes scans measure a little off. Eat well, rest, n let the doctor keep track. They will tell u if anything actually needs attention.
My doctor explained baby weight depends on many things, the placenta, mom's nutrition, blood flow, sometimes just measurement timing. She said one low reading isnt the full picture, they track the trend over scans. Ask urs to explain ur specific report.
This is really one for ur doctor, not a guessing game. Sometimes its just dates being off, sometimes they want to monitor more closely. Mine watched my baby's growth with extra scans. Please go by what ur gynac says, dont stress alone.
In my case growth was watched very closely because of my sugar issue. What helped was eating proper protein n following exactly what the dietician said, not random weight gain foods. Please let ur doctor guide the diet for ur situation.
I totally panicked when they said baby was on smaller side. I overthought everything. But with good food, rest n regular scans it caught up. Talk to ur doctor n try not to spiral like i did, easier said i know.
