Im in my 7th month and my feet n ankles have gone so puffy by evening, even my fingers feel tight na. Is this just normal pregnancy ki baat or should i be worried? Anyone else faced this?
Oh god, dont even ask! During my 8th month, my slippers stopped fitting and I looked like an elephant. Apparently, it's just your body making extra blood for the baby, but honestly, it feels like a bad joke. Just lie down and make your husband massage your feet, u deserve it.
It's completely natural, sweetie, your body is working so hard to grow a whole human. Try wearing loose clothes and take small walks to keep the blood flowing. Just don't stress, but if the swelling seems too sudden or is only in one leg, please call your gynac to be safe.
Honestly, I tracked this on my app during my second trimester when my feet turned into balloons. It's mostly because of extra fluid and blood retention which is super normal, but keeping track of it really helped me not panic. Just try to keep your feet elevated whenever u can!
I totally understand how frustrating and uncomfortable this feels. When my feet bloated up, I used to feel so down looking in the mirror. Just remember this is temporary and your body is doing a beautiful job caring for your little one.
Beta, this is very common in pregnancy, body holds a lot of water. You can drink warm jeera water, it helps with water retention. But remember, don't stand for too long and if your hands or face swell up suddenly, then please check with your doctor immediately.
