Im around 30 weeks and noticed a little leaking from my breasts these last few days, never happened before so it kind of surprised me. Is this a normal thing this early? Just curious why it happens.
My doctor explained it's hormonal, prolactin starts preparing the body before delivery. She said leaking or not leaking both are normal and nothing to read into. So no worries either way.
Oh I am in my second trimester and noticed a tiny bit too, got scared honestly. Did others feel this early? Reading your replies makes me feel so much calmer.
This is the colostrum coming in, your body is just getting ready to feed baby. I had little drops from around the third trimester and it surprised me at first. Totally normal, I just used breast pads and it was fine.
