Saw some light brown discharge today and im around 8 weeks. No pain as such but it made me anxious instantly. I will mention to my doctor but wanted to understand why this happens, anyone experienced same?
I saw brown discharge early on and completely panicked thinking the worst. My doc said its usually old blood leaving the body and was nothing serious in my case. It settled, but i still got it checked just to be calm.
My gynac told me light brown spotting can happen from implantation or just old blood, and small amounts are often okay. But she said fresh red blood, heavy flow or pain is different and needs immediate attention. So she asked me to always report bleeding.
A little brown discharge can be normal but honestly in pregnancy i would just call the gynac and tell them. They can decide if its fine. Dont sit and worry alone.
