Ever since i got pregnant the white discharge has increased a lot, way more than before. Its not itchy or smelly but i just dont understand why its happening. is it normal in pregnancy?
I felt a bit worried when the discharge increased early on. I felt better once my doctor said it was completely normal. Just keep an eye on the colour and smell, thats what they told me.
My gynac explained that increased white discharge in pregnancy is normal because of more blood flow and hormones. As long as its white or clear and odourless, its fine. But if it turns green, smelly, itchy or has blood, tell your doctor.

Normal white discharge is fine, but please dont ignore any unusual colour, itching or smell. Those need a gynac visit. When in doubt, just get it checked, its quick.
Both times my discharge increased, its just the body doing its thing. Wear cotton and keep the area dry. Only worry if it smells off or itches, otherwise its routine.
My mother said this is the bodys natural way of keeping things clean during pregnancy. I stayed comfortable in loose cotton and didnt fuss over it. If it ever looked unusual though, I asked my doctor straight away.
