6 weeks now and i keep feeling lightheaded, specially when i stand up fast. Today i almost had to sit down at work. Is this a normal early pregnancy thing or should i be worried? pls share.
My gynac said early dizziness is usually due to blood pressure changes and the body adjusting to pregnancy hormones. Low sugar and not eating on time makes it worse. She told me to eat small frequent meals and stay hydrated.
I felt so dizzy in my first trimester, mostly when I stood up fast or skipped meals. Keeping some biscuits and water near me helped a lot. Just get up slowly yaar, it really makes a difference.
I kept snacks in every bag, dizzy hunger was real haha. Once I started munching nuts and fruit through the day it got much better. Honestly food was my best medicine.
Mild dizziness is common, but if you actually faint or it happens a lot, please tell your gynac. Could be low BP or low iron that needs checking. Better to be safe.
