Oh, this post made me so nostalgic, my little one is a toddler now and still as active as he was inside! Kicking is just their way of exploring and letting you know they are doing fine. Enjoy this beautiful phase because you will miss these tiny flutters later!
When I was staying at my parents' house during pregnancy, my mother used to say the baby is just playing and listening to our voices. It felt so true because whenever my dad or husband spoke near my tummy, the kicks would start. It’s such a sweet family feeling.
I don't know the exact medical reason behind it, but in my experience, the kicks would start whenever I lay down to rest. It was like a little dance party in there. As long as you feel those active movements regularly, it's a very reassuring feeling.
Kicking is completely healthy and normal, it shows the baby is active and developing muscles properly. Normally they kick more after you eat or when you are resting. Keep a track of the movements daily, that's what is most important.
My little foodie kicks like crazy whenever I eat spicy biryani or sweet gulab jamuns! I think they are just celebrating the tasty food we send down there. Honestly, it's just their way of communicating and saying 'more food please'!
