I tested positive last week and now im getting this dull pulling feeling exactly like my periods are about to start. It scared me a little honestly. Why does it feel so similar, anyone went through this?
I literally panicked thinking my period was coming and I wasn't pregnant. Turned out it was implantation type cramps, totally normal. But if it gets sharp or there's bleeding, pls call your doctor, that part I'd never ignore.
My doctor said it's because the uterus is starting to stretch and the embryo is implanting, and that uses the same area as period cramps. So the feeling is very similar early on. Mild cramping is usually normal.
Same, I felt exactly like PMS in the first weeks and kept checking for my period. It's the uterus making room for baby. Such a confusing feeling honestly.
I'd gently say light cramps are common as the uterus changes, mine felt like period too. But because of my past I always called my gynac if it came with bleeding or got strong. Better to ask and feel safe.
